Yes, much to difficult." Lilah knew she was going to make Nikolas explode with anger eventually. But he needed this. He needed a good hypothetical slap to the face.

Nikolas glared at the girl, beautiful in the shadows. He hated what she was saying, the anger boiled up in him, redding his vision. How was he supposed to search? Where would he look? Where would he go?
"Where would I look? How would I keep myself alive? I am no wanderer, I stay in the forest, and there only. I am a NIght person, alive in the night, at home in the forest, and that will never change," Nikola said coldy.

"I can't answer those questions. I do not know your brother. I don't know where he could possibly be." Lilah started thinking. If Nikolas had powers, maybe Nikola did too...? But that thought left her mind before she could even investigate it further. Lilah had a serious expression on her face. Calm, sure, and unphased. His anger didn't bother her one bit.

"No, I don't see your problem. If it was my brother, I would search everywhere, probably wasting my time, but what would it matter? It's not like I have anybody else here, so what would the problem be?" Lilah couldn't stand how Nikolas just swallowed himself in self pity. It was sickening..

"Were am I to go? I could pass him by everyday and not even know it! It's been years since I last saw him! He's probably changed just as much as I have, there's no way I would recognize him. Not now, not ever again. I would be wasting my time, I know that not, so I prefer to use my time for better stuff," Nikolas said. Turning his cat eyes upon the girl.

"If you believe that, then stop complaining. Either search for him, or stop being a baby about it." Nikolas thinks he is the only one with pain and troubles. Well, he's not. Why won't he see that?

Nikolas looked at the girl for a minute. He could feel the annoyance rolling off her, and it wasn't hard for him to guess why.
"I know I am not the only one who has felt pain. Everyone else has always had some one to talk to about their pain,a friend to go to, family that supports them. I never have. All my pain has been bottled up inside of me, no way to get out, no one to listen to them. The one person I could talk to was gone to who knows where. My parents never cared. Who did I have to go to?
"No one. I was on my own. So my entire life, all the pain I ever felt, everything was bottled up inside me, no one to ever let me get it out. That much emotion with out a release can drive a person mad," Nikolas said.

"Who did I have to talk to? Nobody. I was alone too. No friends. Nobody could stand to be around me. All I had was myself and my shadows. The darkness, my pain. And you are not the only person to be put in a situation like that! Grow up and realize that it is a part of reality. Some people have it even worse." Lilah was very annoyed now. She tried to stay calm. and keep it cool, but he cracked her.

"Hmmm...But know you have people to help me. I lived with the knowledge that everyone I knew, besides Nikola, hated me. I had no one that loved me then, and I still don't now," Nikolas said as he stood up. He looked once more at the girl, then turned and walked back towards the forest, back towards the camp.
"People love you now, but no one will ever love me. Why would anyone want to?" Nikolas said over his shoulder right before he disappeared. He walked far enough to be out of her sight, but he did not leave, just stood there, looking through the dark at the girl sitting under the tree, shadows crowding around her. He wondered what she would do now.

Lilah raised her voice slightly to be heard. "Fine, Nikolas. Your life is horrible. You have it so bad. I feel so sorry for you. Happy? Your life is officialy worse than everybody elses. Walk away. You really are pathetic, and that is why you need a frien. And you are lucky I am too stubborn to just turn my back on someone in need of help. Lilah removed all her shadows, making her beauty radiate in the darkness.

Nikolas shook his head and walked slowly back to camp. He let out a slight whistle, his cheerful mood rising. He put his hands in his pockets and pulled his hat farther down on his head. The night was nice, but he was tired. Hid tent seemed nice to him right now.

Lilah walked to camp. And went straight to her tent. It will take a lot of hardwork to make Nikolas realize he is a baby...
