Personality: She's the definition of wind. She's energetic but can be calm at times. She loves playing with people, and will probably play a prank on you if she get's the chance. Like a gentle breeze she can be comforting, but also like a great hurricane she can be a big problem. She makes friends easily, but sometimes it's hard for the friends she makes to keep up with her. She's as athletic as a little girl can get, and probably has never ran out of energy.
Likes: She's loves the wind. The way it blows, the way it moves, and has been known to race it from time to time. She loves being alive, and playing with friends, even if sometimes the playing turns into pranks. It's all innocent fun right? She also loves day time and was happy to join the tribe of Day.
Dislikes: She doesn't "hate" windless days, she just prefers windy ones. Though she'll bring up a pretty good wind storm if it's too bad. She hates the night time, it's when all the creatures of darkness take over the air waves, and she would rather be in her nice warm bed, hiding under the covers like any smart little girl would. She's afraid of the dark, and would probably choose to hang out mostly with light elementals if she had the choice. She dislikes kill joys, and bossy adults.
History: Icaris was a happy baby. Her mother named her Icaris because when she was born, it was like she just flew out of the womb. She had a happy and fun childhood. It was mostly just her mom, and her. Icaris's dad was in the army, and was away for long periods of time. She was happy living in Norway. They lived by the ocean, and she had a wonderful childhood till she was eleven, when war broke out. Icaris's dad was instantly shipped off to the war. He was one of the first casualties. This devastated Icaris, and her mother. Soon, the enemy had taken over where they lived, and they were forced to live under the enemy rule. Icaris' mother soon joined the rebellion. Big Mistake. The enemy found out that she was aiding the rebellion and she was soon sentenced to death. Icaris lived up to her element and left. She ran, she didn't know where, all she knew was that she had to get out of there. The enemy had come to take her away to an enemy run orphanage. They were in hot pursuit after Icaris and she soon found her legs very tired. She couldn't run any more, she had just run at full speed for four and a half miles, and for some reason the enemy didn't give up. She fell, being Norway the ground was covered in snow, and the wind was blowing icy cold daggers. She fell down, she had to get up, she had to keep going. The wind picked up, and up, and up, until it was starting to carry her. She was soon lifted off the ground and flying through the forest. Narrowly dodging trees, and thorn bushes. She was also freaking out, it wasn't normal to fly. But soon she was very grateful to be able to rest her legs. The wind soon became a little cloud, drifting her along. She soon realized that she was the one controlling the cloud. She wanted to go left to dodge a tree, the cloud went left, she went right, so did the cloud. Then she realized the altitude controls, and she was on her way. She was flying her very own cloud. Good thing she was close to the ground though, because as soon as she wondered how she was doing it, she stopped doing whatever she was doing. She fell into a snow bank, but it didn't matter, she had flown! She soon figured out how to control the winds again, and was now flying with a purpose, she could still hear the sound of pursuit behind her, so she flew high into the cloud line. Though it was very cold, she was glad to be away from the soldiers. She happily started flying faster, and faster, and faster. Like the wind she couldn't dwell on things for long. It may seem a little mean to forget your parents, but that's how the wind was, always blowing, never dwelling on things. Sure she would always have that hole in her heart where they were, but she wouldn't let it bring her down. She knew they were in a happier place anyway, together in heaven. And now Icaris could fly! So she happily flew along. Then the idea popped into her head. "Dang...where am I supposed to go?" She started flying faster. She soon saw towns, the smells from the amazingly good. Her stomach was soon rumbling like a lions. "Hmm...it's not stealing if it's for a good cause right?" she wondered to herself as she flew down to a bakery. She snuck up on the door. It was closed, was it night time already? She hadn't noticed the change in light, she was so busy flying. She started whimpering, it was dark. She hurriedly tried the door knob, locked, of course. She tried blowing it open with a gust of wind, nothing. So she tried a bigger gust, still nothing. Then she went all three pigs wolf style on the poor door, and blew the whole bakery down, and took some chunks off surrounding buildings. "Oops," said Icaris as she hurriedly found a few things to eat in the debris, and flew off again. It was like this from town to town. Stealing food, causing a few occasional accidents. Until one day she was flying, she had almost mastered the cloud, even if some of the other things weren't so good, and it was getting dark again without her noticing, she was contemplating if all the stealing she was doing was wrong. Well, soon she noticed it was dark, and she started getting scared. "Wait, I'm safe as along as I'm up here." She said, trying to comfort herself. Then a huge black shadow bird swooped past, and knocked her out of the sky. "NOT SAFE!! NOT SAFE!!" She yelled as she tried to regain her cloud, only little parts would come, and that only slowed her fall. "MAYDAY!!MAYDAY!!!" She yelled as she spiraled into a forest that was below her. She had managed to land on her feet, but she fell over just because she was still in a little shock from falling. "Ok," she said to herself, "I'm in a creepy forest, at night, and it's dark. I'm going into the tree, she said as she jumped/flew into the nearest tree. She soon found a branch that made a sort of comfortable bed, and fell asleep. She woke up to the yelling of some kids. It was early morning, and she was a little sore from sleeping on the hard branch. "What is it!?" She yelled down, rubbing the sleep from her eyes. "How did you get so high up there!?" Yelled the kids back up. "Umm...." she muttered, she couldn't tell them she had wind powers, they would think she was crazy. "I'm a ninja like that?" She yelled back down. Genius she thought, genius. "Right..." yelled the kids back. "Do you need help down!?" Yelled the kids. "Umm...sure!" She yelled. She started descending the branches, but before she could get very far, one of the kids made the ground rise below him like a little rock elevator, and was beside Icaris in now time. "WHA THE CRAP?!" She yelled as she saw the kid fly up towards her, in the shock of seeing that, her grip loosened on the tree, and she slipped off. "NOT A NINJA!!!" She yelled as she fell down. Then she remembered, oh yeah, duh, I can fly! Then not caring if the kids saw, she started falling slower, and gently landed on her bottom. The kids knew instantly that she was one of them. So, they took her back to the Tribe of Day, and she was soon found a place among the wind elementals. She instantly made friends, and has been living the happy, wind life ever since.
