Personality: Carmen is slightly negative. She isn't outright depressed, but she is nowhere near being even remotely happy. Carmen is more on the sarcastic side. She doesn't take situations seriously and that can turn out bad for her.. Carmen is outgoing, but just isn't always friendly. She is usually in her best moods at night, and tends to not like day too much, which is a conflict for her. She wishes she was on the night tribe, and not day.
Likes: Carmen loves storms. They take her breath away. Especially the lightning. The way it dances across the sky puts her in awe. Carmen also loves the night. She feels happier, and more alive. She really loves lightning storms at night. Her two favorite things together. Carmen also enjoys fighting. She isn't very good, but it makes her feel powerful and important.
Dislikes: Carmen doesn't really like the day. She doesn't really have anything against it, but the night is just for her. She finds her self in a worse mood during the day, and she feels her power is useless. She doesn't like being apart of the day tribe. She wishes so baddly to be in the night, but she is connected to day, in the same way she is connected to night. It is in her blood. And she will just have to deal with it.
History: Carmen's parents were both elementals, but not from the same tribe. Her mother was a light elemental from the day tribe, and her father was a shadow elemental from the night tribe. Her parents had fallen in love, but they had been doomed from the beginning. They had Carmen, the only important thing in their life. One night, her parents left carmen sleeping in the day tribe, while they snuck out, but on that night, they dissapeared. Never showed up for their poor little Carmen. As Carmen grew up, she always felt abondened, until one night, a friend of Carmen's mother told her about her parents. And how they had been killed by a demon, but Carmen couldn't tell anybody. It helped her deal though, to know she wasn't just abondened. One night while Carmen thought about her parents, and how they might have been like, she discovered her power. It was night time, and there was a terrible storm. Lightning flashed across the sky, intriguing her. When the lightning stopped, Carmen got frustrated and made her own lightning storm. Bolts flittered across the sky delicately. Now Carmen is 16. She is well aware of the war, and hates having to choose a side. Both her parents came from the tribes, and she couldn't fight apart of her self. But, she wanted to fight. To feel strong and powerful, but she also dislikes fighting for the day tribe when she wishes to be on the night. But she sucks it up and fights for her parents.
