"Can I see the camp?" Haruki said, bursting with pure excitement. She pulled out a small brush from a pocket in her tattered old jeans and began trying to brush her mess of tangled, knee length, dirty blonde hair. She popped a peace of mint flavored gum into her mouth for her breath.

"I believe that should wait until tonight, my dear. The tribe is asleep, the camp empty. For now, eat some more, rest as much as possible, your time in the camp starts tonight. Enjoy your last day as an unknown here," Andromeda said with a smile.

"But how can I be tired?" she questioned, dissapionted. She let a large sigh and lay back down, focusing her thoughts on the following night.

"Sleep, my child, when the day is over, I shall show you the camp," Andromeda said quietly. She sat by Haruki's bed, watching the morning sun rise.

Soon Haruki did find sleep, and with it dreams. Later she woke, the sun just starting to set. She took a deep breath and got ready to see the camp.

"You are awake? Good, come, my dear, the camp awaits," Andromeda said from the front of the room. She was wearing another black dress and black cloak. She looked as depressed as she was.

Andromeda led her out of the tent. Many elementals were already up and about, getting ready for the new night. They stopped to look at the new comer, and exchange greetings with their leader. They watched curiously as Andromeda showed the girl around camp.

"Wow! Everything is so amazing! I never though I'd get to be part of something this big!" she blurted out with much enthusiasm. She smiled, big and wide, for the first time in what seemed like forever. She continued to follow Andromeda.

"It is a big place, and more elementals come in all the time," Andromeda said with a smile. Finally, she had shown the entire camp to Haruki, tents where the elementals slept, hospital tent, tavern tents, and all the practice areas. The camp did take some space, but everything was neatly organized in there own areas.

"That's so cool!" Haruki smiled a great big smile. She took in all of her surroundings. "Where can I go now?"

"You can go to the taverns to eat and meet a few other elementals. Or you can go to your tent, make yourself at home there. It's the night, you can do whatever," Andromeda said with a smile.

Haruki smiled and then hurried off to the taverns when her stomach gave a low growl.

Amdromeda smiled. The young ones were always the hungry ones. She walked back to her tent to prepare for the following nights and the adventures they would hold.
