Raphael tore a piece of cloth and tied the two sticks to his arm. "I promise I won't let Seven Aces hurt you, and remember Nikola, nothing you saw was real, Seven Aces deals with fear and illusions," explained Raphael. "For now..." Mutter Raphael under his breath. "Anyway! fine no stunt driving coarse." Raphael said, with playful sadness. "Oh well, I guess I'll have to put up with slow driving for now, at least until my arm get's a little better." Said Raphael, trying to move his arm but wincing at the effort. If we're gonna make it to Ireland by next week, if we survive the trip, then we're gonna have to make it to the docks by tomorrow. So come on!" Raphael said with an encouraging smile. He jumped in, careful to watch his arm, and shut the door without further adew. He grabbed out of the glove box his very stylish cruising sunglasses, rolled down the window, and very cooly said, "Let's go." Then he made a big smile, and laughed at himself.

Nikola laughed and walked around to the drivers side. He started the car and they were off once more. For a while, Nikola didn't say anything, just let the past few hours' events pass through his mind. Finally, he had something to ask. "So nothing he showed me was real? Meaning my little Nikolas is not in the Underworld in the Fields of Punishment?" he asked, genuine fear showing in his voice.

Raphael sat and wondered the question. "Nah, you have to be almost border line evil to make it to the fields of punishment." Said Raphael, "And usually kids don't make that cut. If he's even dead, If, then he would probably just be in the Fields of Asphodel," Explained Raphael. "So the worst case senario is he's just wondering around in a giant spacious feild, with all the other regular souls. Or, if he was a sweet kid, kind, caring, and all that, then he probably made it to Elysium, of if this was his third time around, the Isle of the Blest. In which case he's living the good life. Er, afterlife. Who knows." Raphael explained looking out the window thinking about the week he spent in the underworld trying to get his beloved love back. He had seen all the places, the fields of punishment, the isle of the blest, he wasn't allowed to enter any of them, but he could see them from afar. Oh the pain he saw in the Fields of Punishment, seeing all the villains of the past. Tantalus, forever to go without food and water, with the branch of a fruit tree just above his head, Adolf Hitler, to forever have to endure one of gas chambers, while being spit on by Jews. It was horrible, all the screams of pain, all the pain without death. Raphael had found some relief obsurving all the happy people of Elysium. Had he seen Nikolas? He couldn't remember, oh well. "As for your parents, who knows, they were kind to you, but not to your brother, they were old enough to commit some sins, but I don't know, I'm no judge." Said Raphael, looking out the window to gaze at the passing scenery.

Nikola didn't say anything, just watched the road before him as he drove. He didn't care about where his parents were, it was Nikolas who dominates his thoughts. The possibilities for what could have happened to him swirled through his mind. Then one thought came up that startled him out of silence. "If I had powers, is it possible that Nikolas did too?" Nikola asked, glancing over at Raphael.

"Hmmm...." Raphael pondered the question. "Sure? I mean, I don't see why not. And if you have them, then I'm pretty sure there's a good chance that he has them. But, if he does, then how come he hasn't made it to the tribe yet?" Wondered Raphael out loud. "Unless he's...." Raphael didn't finish the sentence. He knew it would be bad. "He's probably still on his way there," explained Raphael. "Who knows! We might even bump into him on the way to Ireland!" Said Raphael in a hopeful voice, which made his ribs ache a little. "I bet we're gonna run into him, then it's gonna be great! Like a little family reunion! Then we can bring him back to the tribe, and we can throw a party, and I'll get all drunk of Mountain dew, and it will be awesome! I can't wait!" Said Raphael, now getting himself excited.

Nikola laughed. The way Raphael put it, it seemed like everything would be fine. He tried not to worry about the sentence that he hadn't finished. "Don't get yourself too worked up, Raphael, don't want you to hurt yourself now do we?" Nikola said with a smile to his friend. Nikola was glad Raphael was here to cheer him up.

"Too late for that, I'm afraid," Said Raphael jokingly, waving his arm. He sat back and laughed a little. "So, when we hit the dock, we'll get on my boat, and then it's just, quite literally, smooth sailing from there!" Raphael said, smiling and looking out the window, participating the arrival of the sea. "Unless those sea monsters act up again..." Raphael said almost under his breath. He looked back and made sure the special bag was in the back seat. "You can swim right?" Raphael asked Nikola.

"Oh somewhat. I'm not the best, but I can," Nikola answered. He was having a nice time now, and he was glad he had come. It was nice to get away, and Raphael was a great traveling companion.

"Ok, good," Said Raphael getting that super happy feeling again. So he won't drown when we get attacked, thought Raphael, I mean if, he had to tell himself. Raphael poked his arm again to see how much it hurt, he had to get better faster if he was going to be in any condition to cross the ocean, with possible threats. "So! Nikola, have you ever been on any life threatening adventures? Facing the odds that are stacked against you, defeating giant monsters, saving the princess? Any daring deeds that have won you honor and glory!?" Raphael was getting excited, thinking about the few journeys he had been on. The monsters he had faced, and the things he had seen.

"Nothing but this, my friend, nothing but this," Nikola replied with a smile. He'd never been on any adventures like this before, it had all been normal day stuff before he had joined the Tribe. Once he joined the tribe, he hadn't left until now.

"Well, maybe I can find you a good dragon on the way there," Said Raphael jokingly, but was actually semi-serious. A little somewhat actually reasonable plan was forming in his mind to after they made it to Ireland to go find an adventure. "Well, I'm sure you'll find your adventure one day, maybe it's here right now!" Said Raphael, almost making a dragon form out of light, but thought against it. "Hey Nikola, would you like to accompany on my next voyage outside the tribe? This one was just to see my son, but the next one will be a little more exciting, or planned exciting that is." Raphael said, thinking back to the rumor he had heard in Spain about the where abouts of The Cup of the Medicine Man.

"That would be great, my friend. I would love to go on an adventure with you. I'm sure you could cook up all sorts of trouble," Nikola said with a smile. And who knows? Maybe they would find Nikolas on one of these adventures? That would be the best day of his life if they did. Nikola had been wishing about Nikolas since the day of the fire. Wishing that he was alive, wishing he was there, wishing Nikola could talk to him just one more time. It had been all he'd ever wanted since the day of that fire.

"Well, not to brag or anything, but I am an excellent chef," Said Raphael jokingly. He looked ahead and saw the ocean coming into view, they would be arriving at the dock shortly. Then the real adventure begins, fighting on land is one thing, you have something to walk on, and places to run. But in the open ocean, it's either stand and fight, or die trying to swim away. "So, Nikola, I almost forgot, have you ever heard of a Syren? Because, if I remember correctly, we might be passing their island on the way there and I just need to know if you've ever heard one sing before," Said Raphael, he's never heard one, but he had a captain who had once. The old salty captain ordered Raphael below deck when they passed the cursed island, but Raphael saw the effect afterward. Eight sailors had jumped ship to go to the Syrens, and they died as soon as the waves crashed them against the cliff side. It wasn't a pretty site, and Raphael was glad he had been below deck. The Syrens Song could drive any man wild, even if he used all his might to resist it, it would be no use.
