For some reason that just made something snap in Raphael's brain. Raphael can only take so much sad in one day, he started the day with sad, then Nikola had his episode, now he's gonna have another!? Bragah flaba graba craga! Raphael yelled in his mind. I've got to do something to cheer this sad puppy up quick-like! If war doesn't put a smile on his face, if sentimental sappy speeches doesn't either, THEN ROLLER COASTER RIDE INTO OBLIVION WITH A DERANGED DRIVER MUST!! HE'S GONNA BEG FOR HAPPY WHEN I'M THROUGH WITH HIM!! Raphael thought, getting a deranged smile on his face. Then, he started to laugh, a crazy psycho laugh. Raphael reached back into the back seat. "Hey Nikola, you see this?" Raphael pulled out from his bag a small crystal. "Have you ever been to the underworld and back? I once went there to try and get my wife back, took me quite a bit of sweet talking, and little sweet music on my Kithara, and not looking over my shoulder on my way back. But you know what? I did, I looked over my shoulder at the last second, I couldn't hear my wife's wonderful and delicate foot steps again, so I had to make sure she was still there. That was the last look I had of her, but Hades felt sorry for me, he gave me this crystal if I ever wanted to go back. I haven't figured out a way to get my wife back yet, so why not just go to her!? HMMM Nikola!!?? and I'm gonna let you meet her too! COME NOW NIKOLA!!! MWAUAHAHAHAHHAH!!!!" Raphael had gone momentarily insane!! "This is gonna be fun Nikola!" Raphael yelled as he rolled down the window and chucked the crystal in front of the car. A huge portal appeared, with dark energy come from it, and demons reaching out, trying to make it back to the land of the living. "Here we go!!" Raphael yelled as the car zoomed through the portal. Outside of the car changed to darkness and horror. Hades' palace could be seen on the horizon, and the gaping mouth of the entrance to Tartarus. "Well, home sweet home, spent a whole week on my travel here. Not a friendly one either. It's an unforgiving landscape, with your life force being drained slowly all while you're here." Raphael said smiling as if his week here was a happy memory. "Ever hear of the highway to heck? Here it is!" Raphael said. Raphael gripped the steering wheel, "This is gonna be nice, a simple drive through the country."

Nikola was white, pale as a ghost. His hands visibly shook as he looked on in fright. Raphael had finally lost it. He had snapped. He had gone insane. Nikola didn't know what to do. He thought he might possibly die on this trip, and that was not something he wanted to do. He still had too much to live for.
"Raphael, what the heck are you you doing? Stop this! Take us out of here! This is insane, Raphael! Are you trying to kill us?" Nikola shouted, fear in his voice.

Raphael changed the light to make his face look like Charon's, the boat driver to the under world. It was that of a hooded skeleton, with nothing but blackness for eyes. "Maybe I am Nikola, Maybe I am!Ha Ha Ha!!!" Raphael's laugh was cold and empty. Sounding sort of like if the Grim Reaper was laughing at a poor soul. Raphael changed the look of the car into a long wooden boat. "Nikola, I take it you don't have much experience with insane people," Raphael was now looking like he was dressed in a tux and top hat. Like a snoody rich person sitting down for tea. "He He! This is going to be a fun trip indeed! If you don't go insane by the end of it, then I'm not doing my job!" Raphael said. Now, listen, at first glance, it looks like Raphael was knocked off his rocker, but he actually has a very good reason for all this. He's trying to get Nikola to quit freakin' out at any, and all abnormal things he sees! He's not gonna survive if he can't even make it through all the things Raphael's making up! (Yes that crystal actually wasn't a gate way to the underworld, it was actually just a pretty rock Raphael found once. But the story about the underworld was true, just not the rock. Anyway!) "Nikola? You ready to meet Hades?! He's a close and personal friend o' mine!" Raphael said as he started driving the boat faster.

Nikola looked around for any way out of this insane trip. What the heck was he supposed to do? Raphael would end up killing him! He had gone insane and Nikola did not want to be around him while he was like this. It was a nightmare come to reality!
"I do not want to meet Hades! I want you to turn around and take me back to reality! I want to go back to sunshine and light! If I wanted to see darkness and depression, I could have gone to the Night tribe!" Nikola shouted. It was plain to all that he was freaked out. He knew that his old friend would get him through this alive, but he wasn't quite so sure about the insane one. He didn't know if he could trust the insane Raphael, but he hoped his old friend would come around and get them back to Earth safely.

Raphael forgot about one little detail...it's dark in the underworld. Seven Aces smiled happily as he came out of the back of Raphael's mind. "Aw, but he really wants to meet you." Seven Aces said in his serpent like tone. Now, Seven Aces is no fool, he can see that Nikola is freaking out so he isn't going to let the illusion of the underworld fall. He's gonna keep it up and see how bad he can torture Nikola while they're here. "Nikola? You say your parents weren't the best of people, I wonder where they ranked on the scale of goodness down here. Want to take a stroll down to the fields of punishment?" Seven Aces was smiling, there were horrible unspeakable things in the field of punishment. All the lost and horrible souls in one place. "If they really were good, then we shouldn't bump into them, but if they weren't so good, well, they might not be in the best of moods to see you." Seven Aces laughed a chilling dead laugh. I'm only going easy on you right now, thought Seven Aces. Key words "For Now"...

"Raphael! What the heck are you doing? I do not want to see my parents! I do not want to be in the Underworld! Take me out of here! I thought we were supposed to be going to Ireland!" Nikola shouted. By this point he was in an all out break down. The mention of his parents had broke him. He just hoped Raphael wouldn't think about trying to find Nikolas. That would be beyond horrible.

"What the heck? why this heck Nikola!" Seven Aces said as they turned the corner in the river to head towards the field of punishment. "And why wouldn't you want to see them Nikola? Don't you miss your poor parents? I thought you loved them?" Seven Aces said with a devilish smile, and mock sympathy. "Ireland? why Ireland? Isn't this place much more fun? Oh look! Is that the field of punishment coming up? I think it is! And who do I see inside? HA HA HA!!!" Seven Aces pointed into the Fields. Since this was all an illusion he could put whoever he wanted into the fields of punishment, and that's exactly what he did. Nikola's parents could be seen inside. Their eternal punishment was to forever be engulfed in flames, just like they died. Forever to be burned, Seven Aces was pleased with how much of a genius he was. "Nikola? do I see some relatives in there? I think I do!" Seven Aces said with a delighted tone in his voice.

Nikola's eyes widened in horror. A billion memories flashed through his mind, all of his parents, doting over him, neglecting Nikolas. He got everything, and Nikolas got nothing. It seemed Nikolas was nothing more than a mistake they didn't want but couldn't get rid of. The flames engulfed them, and Nikola could see them crying out, pleading with him for help. His body shook as sobs wracked him. He couldn't stand it. Why was Raphael doing this to him? What had Nikola done to deserve this? He turned his gaze, trying to not look at his parents, but it seemed their images, flames engulfing them, fear and pain forever in their eyes, tears evarporating off their skin as soon as they came, would forever be seared in his mind. He would see them everytime he closed his eyes, everytime he slept. His dreams would forever be nightmares, clawing at his heart with claws as sharp as razors. Raphael had found Nikola's greatest weakness.

Seven Aces was loving this, how much he was making Nikola suffer. Raphael didn't mean for it to hurt Nikola that much, but Seven Aces had hit a gold mine of pain. "Aww, Nikola, looks like they weren't the best of people in there life time, tis truly a tragedy." Seven Aces said, almost as if he was insulting Nikola. "Look Nikola, there reaching out for you! Why don't you go to them? Just a quick swim through The River Styx, then you have to dodge through all the tortured souls, and then you can reach them! Why don't you go for it? You just might be able to save them! HA HA HA!!" Seven Aces laughed hysterically at the thought. If he did he wouldn't hit poison water, he would hit the road hard at 109 miles an hour. "I wonder if Nikolas is anywhere to be found? Was he a good little boy Nikola? Did he ever cause any trouble? I bet if we took a look around we might find him!" Seven Aces said as if the thought of finding Nikolas was as pleasant as taking a picnic.

Nikola didn't even try to control the sobs that wracked his body anymore. It was too much. He didn't know why Raphael was showing him this, why he was doing this to him. He thought they had been good friends, thought that they would stick together even in the worst of times. Now Raphael was tormenting him, showing him his dead parents, soon to find his brother. Poor, poor Nikolas. He would never have hurt a fly. He was such a sweet boy, so innocent when Nikola had left. Now Nikola didn't know what he was like. Years with parents such as theirs could have changed him, and maybe Nikola wouldn't even recognize him anymore. That wasn't something Nikola wanted to think about, but being here, in the Underworld, seemed to be bringing up all of the horribly thoughts that had been hiding in the back of Nikola's mind.

"Aw, are we not having fun yet, Nikola?" Seven Aces asked in delight. "You haven't answered my question yet, was Nikolas a good boy? Will we run into his eternally tormented soul here? Or is he just having the time of his life on the isles of the blessed?" Seven Aces said, already knowing where he would put Nikolas in this imaginitive underworld. "Oh? Nikola? What do I see on the horizon? Over there in the far corner of the fields of punishment. Do I see, oh yes I think I do. I think I see Nikolas!" Seven Aces said with an overjoyed expression. "Look! Oh my, looks like Nikolas wasn't a saint like you thought. It looks like fire isn't the worst torture for him, looks like a fire arm is! Forever to be in a fireing line. Being shot, over and over again. Too bad for him, I guess he wouldn't want to talk to us would he?" Seven Aces said smiling at Nikola's tears.

Nikola stared, wide eyed, at Nikolas. Pain clawed at Nikola's heart with razor sharp claws, twisting its way deeper and deeper. Nikola felt betrayed. Had nothing good been in his family? Was his parents really so bad that it had made Nikolas, his sweet baby brother Nikolas, go mad and preform horrible acts? Horrible enough to land him in the Fields of Punishment?
"W-w-w-why are you d-d-d-d-doing this, Raphael? W-w-what did I d-d-do to deserve th-th-this? W-w-w-what did I d-d-d-do to make you h-h-hate me so?" Nikola asked, stumbling through the blinding tears. His voice shook, insecurity, betrayel, and hurt thickly lacing it.

Seven Aces laughed when he heard Raphael's name, "Raphael? You think that spineless, waste-of-a-space soul who shares this body with me would do this? NO! I can't let him take the credit for this! Your eternal tormenter is the immortal Seven Aces!" Seven Aces said Triumphantly, a boastful tone in his voice. "Oh do look happier my poor Nikola, you have a great privilage indeed. Getting to meet such an infamous character such as myself." Seven Aces said, as if he were a king or another high dignitary. "But I assume you haven't heard of me, as you idiodically mistaked me for that vermin called Raphael. 'Tis a shame, you won't know how much of an honor it is before you leave this life, all the dead you will meet cringe at the name Seven Aces, you will be respected for being killed by me. No need to thank me, it's all my pleasure." Seven Aces informed Nikola, "Oh, do say hello to your parents for me Nikola," Seven Aces said, lunging forward to push Nikola from the illusioned boat, into the poisoned water of the hard road.

Nikola sucked in a suprised breath and ducked Seven Ace's lung. He had no where to go, trapped in the boat with this evil demon thingy, it didn't look very good for Nikola. He looked around for anything that could help him, but he couldn't see a thing in this wretched darkness. He growled in fustration and brought up a light, shining it around him so he could see better. Dark river, dark boat, evil creepy guy in Raphael's body. Not looking good for Nikola at all.

Seven Aces looked surprised when Nikola dodged him, "I thought I had broken you, looks like I still get to have some more fun!" Seven Aces smiled in delight. Well, time for the extreme stunts, thought Seven Aces. He had only seen Raphael do this, but Raphael had limits, silly humans, thought Seven Aces. Without caring about the straining muscles, or the little headache, Seven Aces crammed light into one spot. A little platform appeared outside the car-boat, and Seven Aces hopped onto it. "Well, this is interesting," Seven Aces said to himself. He elevated himself a little, "Well, this is going to be fun!" Seven Aces said as he started to slowly orbit the car. "So Nikola? You're now in a driverless boat, and careening through the underworld, how do you feel?" Seven Aces said with a big smile. What he wasn't letting on about was that his body was starting to take a tole, it could only take so much light manipulation in one day.
