Abby sat, slumping her back to the nearest tree in the small clearing she always hid in when she was upset. She had made it back safely to camp, but the pain did not vanish. Nickolas had opened up too many old wounds. She had been crying for what seemed like forever, screaming even. Her heart ached with such an intensity that her whole life felt like a deep, dark, black pit. She wanted so badly to know who her mother was, and why she left her alone and in an orphanige that treated her like scum. What had she done to deserve that? She continued to cry. A girl with light brown hair and green eyes walked up to her. "What's wrong?" she asked. "GO AWAY!" Abby screamed at the top of her lungs. The girl walked away quickly without question. Abby screamed again. People should know not to mess with her when she's like this. The physical pain of being burned had not vanished either, even though she had been trying to cool it with her air for what seemed like forever. She took a breath and tried to stand. She fell, her legs sore and aching. She had tried to sleep, but the shock of what had happened had kept her eyes wide open and alert. Whenever she closed them, she could just see Nickolas standing over her, smiling cruely and burning her. She shuddered at the thought. She sat there, wide eyed and alert for what seemed like hours, not realizing how hungry she truely was. Or thirsty.

Aurora approached, smiling at the sunshine and beauty of the earth. A garden bloomed at every foot step, beautiful flowers and small trees. Aurora was in her element, A beautiful day. Though, something was getting in the way of reaching perfect, Aurora could sense someone, someone full of pain and hatred, putting a shadow on her beautiful day. Aurora walked up to Abby, "Hello young one, what is troubling you?"

Abby knew better than to scream at the leader of the tribe. She at least had that much common sense. So her crying quieted and she tried to speak. It took all of her effort. "N-n-nik-kola-a-s" she stammered, trying to catch her breath. She was hurting so badly.

A flash of anger appeared on Aurora's face,"Curse those tribe of Night." Aurora said, a lighting storm could be heard in the distance. A caring expression returned instantly, Aurora slowly put her hand on Abby's forehead. "They have hurt an innocent girl, this has destroyed the last shred of respect I had for them." Aurora sighed, she raised her hand and watered appeared almost instantly. She threw it sky ward and lightning struck it. She then made a flower grow, a flower with a cup like blossom. She poured the water into the cup, lifted her hand, and huge pipe shaped diamonds shot out of the ground. Aurora took one, crushed it in her hand, then poured it in the cup. "Here young one, this should ease the pain, all elements combined into a healing mixture. Drink" Aurora offered Abby the flower blossom.

Abby didn't reply, she just drank. It did ease the pain, but she was still hurting. She took a deep breath and spoke. "Nickolas hurt G-gracey too, and she was from his own t-tribe. He is a m-m-monster! It's not the Tribe of Night's fault! Don't b-blame the whole tribe!" she panted.

"Nickolas is Andromeda's spawn, and the apple does not fall far from the tree. The whole lot of them are blood thirsty monsters." The sky darkened as Aurora's thoughts turned back to the cause of the war. Aurora sighed, all this over a boy, she thought. "Only pain and suffering comes from that tribe, Nickolas is not the only one to have harmed one of our tribe. Every single one of them have harmed us. You are not the first to be wounded in the war, and you will not be the last." The storm above started thundering more. "But, seeing as Nickolas has harmed even one of his own, he will have to be destroyed with no mercy." Lighting shot down and struck next to Aurora, then the storm cleared. "But, that doesn't matter right now, what matters now is how are you feeling?" Aurora said with a warm smile.

"Not so good... But it h-hurts more inside then out," Abby confirmed, starting to feel better. But Nickolas would haunt her dreams always, and the ache in her heart would never vanish. She would be scarred for life.

"Hmmmmm..." Aurora was pondering what she could do. She snapped her fingers, "I know!" Aurora snapped her fingers again, a flash of light, then the meadow transformed into a grand dining hall. It was giant, walls of gold and diamonds. Long rows of large wooden tables covered in all types of food. Ice cream, smoothies, candy, soda, meat, pizza, burgers anything you could want! All perfectly prepared. "If your insides hurt, we'll just have to put others good things in there to fix it up." Aurora said with a smile, she was seated on a thrown at the end of the middle and largest table. "Well, my young princess, dig in!"

Abby rolled her eyes. "I don't mean like that..." Though she was hungry, Abby didn't feel like eating. She felt far too sick for that. And her emotions were flickering inside herself, making her want to scream again. She was so angry! How dare Nickolas do this to her! How dare her mother abandon her! What had she done to deserve this, any of it? Why would a mother abandon her two year old daughter? Why was the world so darn unfair? She tried to keep her scream inside of her, clenching her jaw. It took all of her effort to keep these emotions inside. She took a deep breath, and willed the air to calm her down. It did. She sighed, still hurting, but not wanting to scream anymore.

Aurora looked unhappy that Abby wasn't eating. "My dear, if you want to scream then scream. No good can come from keeping it bottled up inside." Aurora said in a matter of fact way. Then sensing the hatred Abby was feeling, Aurora said "Child, you are not unlucky, not in the least bit. You have a wonderful place to live, wonderful, caring friends," Aurora put up a light veil, showing all the others of The Tribe of Day. All the one's who have come to know and love Abby. The grand dining hall disappeared, and Abby and Aurora were back in the meadow. Aurora was standing in front of Abby, and she brushed her cheek gently. "You've been blessed in many ways, Abby, things may seem more horrible when they first happen, but just always keep your blessings in mind. Also, you shouldn't worry about Nickolas, as long as your inside the camp he cannot hurt you. I'll make sure of that. If any nightmares come of this just know they're only that, nightmares. Nothing more, you are in no danger." Aurora said, brushing the hair out of Abby's face.

"Okay-" Abby paused, thinking hard. She faught with herself for a minute and the said "Umm... Aurora? Thank you for, well, you know." She tried to smile and then ran off to go find something to do.

Aurora smiled as Abby ran off. She thought a loud, "You've grown so much, my little princess." Aurora made a flower bloom with every step Abby took, just to try something else to just see if she could get that smile to come out. After Abby went out of view, Aurora turned and went back to camp. She knew Abby would be alright, she was to strong to let something like that bother her for long.
