Abby felt as if she was on fire. An agonizing pain like no other burned her physically... and mentally? She remembered everyone who had betrayed her... her parents... the orphanige mom.... even the orphans themselves! Her heart lurched with hatred. She wasn't going to let it happen again! She summoned all of her powers and felt a tornado rising, larger than any she had ever made. It swirled around her, cooling the physical burning, but not the mental. She tried to get the tornado to pick up Nickolas. The fury grew, differant from any anger she had ever felt. This hate was REAL. This fury was TRUE. Nobody could take it away from her, not even Nickolas. Nobody could take it away, nobody...

"Now, now, why are you not playing nice? Is the fire not enough for you? Do I need to add more?" Nikolas asked in a hiss, right behind Abby, his breath on her neck. He pulled the spirits of her parents who had abandoned her out of their graves where they had been for the past few years. He held them before her, laughing at her petty little anger. It was nothing that he couldn't take care of, and he could still feel the fear rolling off of her, pulsing through the air. The other one was providing much enjoyment, her mind locked firmly in the fire he had created. He loved her screams, fed on them, her pain his everything. Oh, how he loved this.

Gracey kept screaming. She could feel her self burning. Tears violently rolled out of her grey eyes. "MAKE IT-IT STOP!!!!" Gracey screamed in agony. She didn't know what was going on around her, except for that she was burning. "HELP!!" She pleaded. Gracey knew she was going to die. She would burn to death, but why was it taking so long.... Besides the extreme pain she felt, she knew that someone felt amused? Enjoyment? And she heard, laughter? "Please make it stop!!" Gracey pleaded once more.

"Stop... Leave the child alone... Then you can torture me for all eternity. Just let her go." Abby's voice was a hoarse whisper. She looked at the burning girl, though there was no visible fire. I will not let another soul suffer the way I suffered, physical or mentally. I will not let another person feel the immense pain that I felt, she vowed. "Just stop!" Her voice was louder and more mature than usual, as if someone was speaking through her. She had never felt such a peace inside of her. The tornado lessened, untill it was merely a ball of dust swirling in front of Abby's chest.

"My dear, I never stop. This is my enjoyment, this is my nourishment. I feed off of others pain, off of making them feel as I did all those years ago. This is what I need, and none shall take it from me. And this young one over here is much more satisfying than you are. She feels pain much easier, finds fear easier than any other. I prefer her," Nikolas said with his sadistic smile. He increased the fire around the girls, taking in Gracey's screams, her fear flowing deep inside of him. This is what he loved, this is what he needed all these years. Oh, how he loved it. How it helped him, how powerful he was over these two, how much enjoyment they provided. He pushed the fire a little more, bringing the spirits of Abby's parents closer to her, and bringing those of the others at the orphanage along with them.

"SOMEBODY HELP ME!" Gracey begged once again. The fire kept getting hotter and hotter. She dug her nails in the dirt as she flopped in pain. She could feel her skin burning... She opened her eyes finally, but saw no fire. What was this? The pain kept her from being able to reason. As gracey screamed she looked up at Nikolas, her grey eyes filled with tears, fear, and pain. "MAKE IT STOP!" Gracey pleaded. She couldn't take the pain.. Where was anybody? There had to be somebody to help her. Somebody had to here her screams. The pain overwhelmed everything else she felt. She screamed again, a true scream of pure agony.

"That's it." Abby's voice was still mature, and it wasn't her voice? It seemed as if something else had taken away her sences. All she could feel was peace and.... and... was that... will? Will to help Gracey.. and all the others.... She used her air to cool Gracey, swirling it lightly around her and picking her up. "This has to stop, now!" Her voice was extremely calm and her fear was long gone. This man only made her peace more, and her will stronger. She began glide in a tunnel of air, torwards the Tribe of night. If she had had any sence she wouldn't of made her way there, but of course her sence was gone. She merely wanted to help Gracey, to save her from this pain. She was aware of the sacrifices she was making as she made way for the Tribe of Night. Something in her gut told her she HAD to keep going, despite the fury she may cause. I must help this poor girl, I must.

"Where do you think you are going, my beauty? You are not going to leave me, are you? We have just began, the fun just started! You can't leave now, you'll miss the best part!" Nikolas said quietly, appearing in front of Abby's path, him and Salizar blocking the way. He stepped towards her, pushing his memories closer, the pain, the torment, the abandonment, the helplessness, everything. As he walked closer, more demons appeared around him, blocking any path of escape. They were surrounded by his demons, just like he wanted.

Gracey screamed yet again. But suddenly the burning stopped... But she still felt as if she was. She was but wasn't? her skin was cool, but her mind srtill had fire reaging on... This dilema didn't last long. Soon the fire started again, but worse. Gracey screamed again, but it was nonstop screaming. The pain got worse and worse. And now she felt even more alone then before. "HELP ME!!!! MAKE IT STOP!!! PUT THE FIRE OUT!!" Gracey screamed out in agony. She was helpless. She couldn't go anywhere or do anything. She was stuck in this torment. And she knew it would never stop. Gracey looked right into Nikolas's eyes. Her grey eyes held enough pain alone to make you cry. Tears rolled violently down her cheeks. "make it stop?" Gracey said a little more calmly, but still had agony behind the words.

Abby couldn't do anything more. Suddenly, a bird swooped from the dark sky and an amulet fell to the ground. She picked it up and placed it around her neck. Her mind was blank. Her eyes were not thier normal, mint green color. Instead, they were a pale, absent minded blue. She wasn't controlling herself anymore, and was unaware of the demons blocking her path. She felt... blank? Suddenly, she was herself again. But where was she? A sunlit path lay ahead of her and a translucent figure stood before her. "You must choose, now," It said, it's voice like a melody from a song. "Choose what?" I asked, dazzled. "You must choose."
Abby was back in the forest.... outside of her own body standing surrounded by demons. She soon understood what the figure had wanted. She turned her gaze to Gracey. "Allright. I choose to change my old habits. I will become a better person."
Now she was in her body, able to controll it. "Andromeda! Aurora!" she pleaded.

"Calling for your leaders? Oh, they are not here to help you, little one. And why would they care anyway? You're just another elemental, getting in their way, causing all sorts of problems. They will be happier without you. Everyone will be happier without you. You know that, don't you? No one wants you around, that's why everyone left you," Nikolas said quietly, loving the pain and torment he brought upon the girls. Gracey was so easy, her pain so readily avaiable for his taking. The other one was much harder, much more fun. It took work to extract it from her, and he liked that. He pushed the spirits of people from her past before her, making the memories come again, the pain and abandonment she felt rolling over him. Nikolas smiled, brething in deeply. This is what he wanted. Pain, fresh and burning, searing the air around him. He loved it, lived for it. It was everything for him. Torment, sticky, hot, drowning the girls with its claws deep in their hearts. He laughed, his mind overflowing with their pain, their want for help. And no help was coming for them, they were all his. Nikolas heard the small girl, Gracey, calling for help, pleading for him to make it stop. He smiled, looked her right in the eyes, and smiled. He loved her pain, loved her torment. She didn't know where it was coming from, and that made it all the better.

Gracey didn't know what to do. She started getting used to teh burning, so it didn't hurt as bad. Her screams came less often and were quieter. Gracey still begged and pleaded though. "Please, Somebody make it stop! Help me.. Or kill me now..." Gracey had just asked for death, and after this amount of pain and torture, she knew she wanted it. Gracey felt as if she had aged a few years... She felt wiser. She knew she could never be the same. She might not ever laugh, or smile again. She had her eyes open now, for the pain wasn't nearly as agonizing as before. She still screamed, and grabbed at her arms, for she thought she was burning. "Please...." Gracey whimpered. She wished there was someway to get her parents, or anybody to help, but she knew she was in too much pain, too weak, and not expierenced enough to call a spirit. But she still had to try, atleast once.... Her screams continued as she tried to focus, but all she could think about was burning...... She kept trying.,... She summoned a fire elemental from long ago. "Help me?" Gracey pleaded. The ghost recognized her pain, and stood infront of Nikolas. "Let these girls go." The spirit said with authority. His eyes shined a bright red, and stared Nikolas and Salizar down. "Let these children be, or deal with the consequences." This spirit had died from being burnt to death. It was torture, and tehse little girls shouldn't have to endure it, especially for one's pleasure.

Abby's pain ceases on her own will. Speaking to the figure and seeing herself outsid of her own body had made her certain.... certain that she would be okay, that she would live to she the next sunrise, and the next, and the next. This thought captured her, making the hope grow into her heart like nothing she had ever felt before. He couldn't torment her anymore, neither of them. She hoped that the hope would rub onto Gracey. She wouldn't give him the pleasure of her pain, not one ounce of it. Abby did something that surprised her deeply. She laughed? She laughed so lightly and her voice came out as a melody. "This is silly, Nickolas. Silly." She was surprised she knew his name. Her laughter came out in waves and joy spilled onto her. "Silly! Silly! Silly!" She sounded like she had heard the funniest voice on the planet. Her laughter stopped, her heart still leaping with undesicribable hope. "Let us go now. You've had your game. Stop being so silly!" Her voice was calm and happy and hopeful. She glanced at Gracey, roaring with silent pain and the hope grew stronger. She was certain everyyone in the world knew about it.

"You will not stop me, spirit! What do you think you will do? You cannot stop me! I will not be defeated, I cannot be stopped," Nikolas said quietly. He glanced at Abby, wondering why she was no longer in pain, no longer fearful and tormented. She was instead laughing and full of hope and peace. He pushed his memories, bringing out the pain and abandonment to their fullest, anything to bring the pain and fear back up. Why was she no longer being tormented? Where had her sudden peace come from?
