Lilah had decided to escape to the forest. She sat beneath a large tree, unseen. Her shadows swallowed her. She sat very still, and breathed quietly. Lilah often did this. Just sat in the forest and thought. About many things. Today, she was thinking about pain, her past. All that had effected her. Pain didn't really ever bother her, but she had to have a time where she let it all out, or else she wouldn't be able to keep it away. A small tear slid down her cheek, as she tried to remember her parents, and she couldn't. That is what made her cry. She couldn't rememebr the only good thing from when she was younger. Only the pain....

Andromeda moved silently through the forest, her cloak brushing against the ground. Her movements were silent, unseen by all. It was as if she had faded into the night, disappeared completely. She could feel sadness from ahead and decided to see who is was that needed cheering up. After all, a depressed leader was bad enough, they didn't need the people in the camp getting all depressed. Andromeda walked until she saw Lilah, sitting under a tree, shrouding lovingly in shadows. She was a beautigul girl. "What's wrong, my child?" Andromeda asked.

"Nothing is wrong." That was a somewhat lie. Something was wrong, but Lilah had to let it bother her now. This was her time to release all her pain and set it free. But she certainly did not want to talk about it. This was something she did in peace. It helped her. Brought her closer to herself..

"Hmmm... Now I know that is a lie. But I guess we all have those things we keep to ourselves, don't we, dear?" Andromeda said with a smile, looking out over the moon. Shadows draped themselves over her shoulders, hiding her from sight.

"It is a half lie." Lilah said quietly. She never did like to share her feelings with others. She doesn't like feeling vulnerable like that. "I have to release my pain. Get it out of my system for now.." Lilah thought her idea was crazy, but it worked for her. Set aside a certain time and think about what is bothering you, so it will leave you alone...

"That isn't really as crazy as you thinnk, my dear. If it helps you then it's good. Sometimes, getting the pain out is something we all need. Some people just find it easier than others," Andromeda said, looking back at the girl as she said this.

"It helps. Makes the pain go away. The only time I really ever feel it now is when I do this. It's like my body can numb out the pain. Make it go away." Lilah closed her eyes breifly, and reopened them.

"Sometimes, that's the only thing one can do to move on. Some of us are not lucky enough for that to work, though. I have yet to find something that does work for me. Enjoy your freedom, my dear, it's a precious thing," Andromeda said.

Lilah didn't say anything. The silence pounded around her. The moonlight shined directly on Lilah, but her shadows did not want her to be seen...

Anromeda looked up at the moon in silence. It was a peaceful night, the sky clear and beautiful. These were Andromeda's kind of nights. Lilah was not visible through the shadows that covered her, but Andromeda knew that she was only slightly covered. Her shadows did not try to hide her, instead, they surrounded her enough that is was not possible to not see her. She was beautiful, a mystery of the night.

Lilah's shadows would often whisper to her. They didn't speak words, but just noises. Lilah knew it was her shadows communicating to her though. She could feel it. Those little whistles in the wind, that are very faint, she belived were her shadows, Just little noises here and there. Showing her that they care...

"My dear, I am sorry to have to leave so soon after arriving, but duties call. I wish you a goodnight, an end to your troubles, and a night full of blessings," Andromeda said, smiling at Lilah. She disappeared into the night, leaving not a trace of her presence.
