"Because you are hurt. Why would I leave somebody in pain, when I would wish to be helped?" Saphirra understood the girls question. Night and Day people were not meant to help each other. But Saphirra isnt going to leave somebody in pain... It's not who she is..

"Yeah, well I'm fine. Leave me be," Alexis said, brushing the girl away. It wasn't that she didn't apprieciate the help, she just didn't like being around people. She wasn't a people person, she didn't belong.

Alexis watched the girl leave. She looked at the herbs in her hands, let them fall to the ground, and limped back to camp. She hurt, really bad, but she wasn't going to trust a day person, even if she had saved her from the demon. Back in her own tent, she collapsed and fell into a deep, dreamless sleep.
