Gracey layed on the ground, crying. She was behind the tribe of night, but not yet in the forest. She had summoned dozens of random spirits, but did not talk to them. She just cried. Lucy, a spirit that Gracey had often talked to, watched Gracey cry. Lucy's face twisted in pain. All of the spirits' hearts ached for the little girl. Gracey could still feel the burning... She screamed occasionally, startling the gathered spirits. Where was anybody to help her? The pain overwhelmed her. Her heart ached with agony.

Zarya knew her mission was risky, but she had to follow her leader's orders. She hated these Night scum, hated them for everything they were. She was happy to do her leader's bidding, happy to help in the mission to clear all the Night people from the world. Zarya was sneaking around to the back of the Tribe of Night, a short mission just to get a better scope of the land. Her true mission would follow later. Getting the lay of the land was the most important part. Zarya was startled out of her musings by the sound of crying, dreadful crying. Why was their a Night person crying? It had to be a Night, for what Day person, besides herself, would be stupid enough to come here, expecially while making that amount of noise?

Gracey felt somebody. She was feeling that of determination, but she didn't care. The pain was too great to care anymore. She screamed once more and grabbed at her arm, and then cried again. The spirits watched over her in pain. Why was this little girl hurting so much?

Zarya followed a shadowed trail down to a closer veiw of the crying girl. She was small, very young. She was lying on the ground, crying and screaming, in obvious pain. Zarya just watched, wondering why this girl was in so much pain? Did no one in her tribe hear her? Did no one care? What happened to make her this upset and in pain?

Gracey felt the person get closer. "GO AWAY!!" She creamed in agony. Tears kept streaming down her face. Lucy went towards Gracey. "Calm down. Relax little one." "YOU LEFT ME! DON'T TELL ME TO CALM DOWN!" Gracey screamed at Lucy. She made Lucy go away. Her cries were louder now. She was to the point of hyperventalating.

Zarya did not say anything. She did not leave either. She just crouched back in her spot at the beginning of the trial, out of sight and hidden. The girl seems to be in bad shape. Aurora would love to hear about this, a Night girl left all alone at her own camp. No one caring to come help her. Why was she in so much pain? That was the only thing Zarya needed to know before she could report to Aroura.

Gracey continued to sob. She kept summoning more and more spirits. Some good, some bad. She screamed out in agony again. She layed on her back and scratched at her skin. The burning was still there. Faintly. She knew it had stopped, but it was like it had been imprinted in her brain....

Zarya's curiousity was like a burning desire. She wanted to know what had happened. She bit her tongue, anything to keep her from moving. She couldn't expose herself this close to the Night camp, that would be suicidal! She sat there, watching the girl scream in agony, fighting herself every second. Finally, she gave up. She looked around quickly and ran to where the girl was. "Are you okay? What happened?" Zarya asked.

"Go a-a-away!" Gracey screamed yet again. Who was this girl? And she didn't recognize her. She was from the day tribe.... Gracey scratched her arms again. The tears continued to fall. Why had Nikolas done this to her......?

"What's wrong? I'm not going to hurt you," Zarya said. She held her hands up innocently, a gesture of submission, to show she meant no harm. The girl looked pitifull, small and frail, definitly in pain. What could do this to a person? And what kind of evil, sadistic person would want to hurt such a small child?

"Stay a-away from me!" Gracey made someof the spirits go towards Zarya. She continued to cry. Her brain filled with pain and torment. She screamed in pain again. The spirits flinched.

Zarya didn't know what to do. The girl was in pain, she needed help, but it seemed no one from her tribe would come. What should she do? Should she go away, like the girl wanted, or should she try to help her? She sat there, indesicive. Aurora would want her to leave the girl be, leave her in her pain and suffering, just because she was a Night person. Usually, Zarya would agree, but this girl was young, maybe she wouldn't be so bad. Maybe she should try to help her.

The burning was still there. Gracey let out another agonizing scream. Why was this girl still here? Gracey sat up and grabbed onto her legs and starting rocking back and forth. She was mumbling things and kept crying. Her heart hurt sooooo much. And she had no one to help her...

Zarya didn't know what to do. She had decided she needed to help the girl, but she didn't know what to do. She definitly wasn't going to leave, but she didn't know what to do to help. She looked around, trying to get some idea of why the girl was hurting. She couldn't exactly help her if she didn't know what was wrong in the first place. She sighed, finding nothing.

Gracey wanted the girl to leave. To let her cry in peace. Or to kill her. That would be nice to. It would make the pain stop...... Gracey summoned more spirits. More and more kept appearing. They all gathered around and sympathized for the little girl...
